
Marcia Talley is the award-winning author of the Hannah Ives mysteries: Sing It to Her Bones, Unbreathed Memories, Occasion of Revenge, In Death’s Shadow and This Enemy Town. The sixth book in the series, Through the Darkness, will be published by Avon in September 2006.
Marcia is also the editor of a collaborative serial novel, Naked Came the Phoenix, where she joins twelve best-selling women authors to pen a tongue-in-cheek mystery about murder in an exclusive health spa. A second collaboration, I’d Kill for That, is set in an upscale gated community near Annapolis. Marcia’s short stories have appeared in more than a dozen collections including "With Love, Marjorie Ann" and “Safety First”, both Agatha Award nominees and “Too Many Cooks” which won both the Agatha and the Anthony Awards for Best Short Story.
Marcia lives in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband, Barry, a professor at the U.S. Naval Academy. When she isn’t writing, she spends her time traveling or sailing.
